The Atypical Teratoid/Rhhabdoid Tumor (ATR) is a rare cancer in children. It is caused by a gene mutation that stops the body from producing a protein that would normally prevent the tumor from growing. ATR may be present in one or both parts of the body. Symptoms of AT/RT may not be the same in every patient.

The atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor is a highly malignant tumor that typically develops in children under three years old. Though it is rare, it has also been reported in adults. The clinical presentation varies depending on the size and location of the tumor. The most common locations are the sellar region and cerebral hemisphere. ATR can occur in any part of the brain, and it is important to note that the presence of rhabdoid cells does not guarantee a diagnosis of AT/RT. In the 2016 WHO classification, it is defined as a tangle of abnormal proteins in the brain, called the BRG1 protein.

Symptoms of AT/RTs vary. These tumors are aggressive and spread quickly to different parts of the body. They often originate in the cerebellum, which is responsible for regulating movement and limb movements. These tumors have similar signs and symptoms to other types of brain tumours. Nevertheless, they can also spread to the skin, lungs, and other organs. Atypical Teratoid/Rhomboids are often difficult to detect if the symptoms are not noticed in time.

The symptoms of ATRT are unique. These tumors are rare in children, representing only one percent of paediatric brain tumours. Although they are not life-threatening, they are often difficult to treat. Survival times range from several months to a few years. Among patients with ATRT, 32% live for five years or more. They are frequently difficult to diagnose, and there is no cure for this disease.

Atypical teratoid/Rhabdoid tumor symptoms include swollen, red, or bluish-green rhabdoid cytoma. The symptoms of this disease are often overlapping with those of other illnesses. A diagnosis of this disorder is crucial to determine whether the condition is benign or malignant. Atypical Teratoid/Rhhabdoid Tumor is a highly dangerous cancer.

Atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumors occur in the brain of adult patients and can affect the fetal nervous system. Infections in the uterus or bladder are a common symptom of this type of tumor. Atypical teratoid riboid rhabdoid rhabdomyoma is rare in children, but may be present in older patients.

Atypical Teratoid/Rhomboids are a type of tumor that forms in the spinal cord and brain. Most often, AT/RT tumors develop in the cerebellum, which controls movement and balance. In addition, 90% of the cases are inherited and cause no known cause. Atypical Teratoid/RH-Tumors are not dangerous but may require immediate treatment.

An atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor is rare but if you have a history of ATR, you should seek medical care immediately. Atypical Teratoid tumors can develop in both adults and children. The majority of ATR tumors originate in the spinal cord, but they can also occur in adult patients as well.

Atypical Teratoid/Rhomboids are very aggressive tumors of the central nervous system that usually develop in children. These tumors typically occur in the cerebellum or brain stem. They are relatively rare and represent about two percent of all pediatric brain tumors. Symptoms of ATRT include an aggressive growth of the brain. It can spread to other parts of the brain or spine.

Children with ATR can develop a variety of symptoms. The exact symptoms of an ATR vary. They can resemble symptoms of other illnesses or conditions. An ATR can be asymptomatic. There are no specific symptoms of AT/RT, but it can be difficult to differentiate between the two. Atypical teratoid/Rhabdoid tumors can occur in any organ in the body, but the majority of cases occur in young children. It is the most common form of the atypical teratoid tumor.
